Granfondo Campagnolo Roma is a competitive mass participation cycle event. It is a bicycle road race with a single route of about 120 km.

Is open to all members with valid membership card for the year 2019 issued by a national cycling federation and the subjects who are not registered, but provided with medical certificate for cycling events as per the medical certificate form, which can participate subject to the signing of the Ethic Declaration and purchase of a daily FCI card at the time of the withdrawal of race packs.

Rules, with all the registration procedures, is on Granfondo Campagnolo Roma website. The registrations, individual or cumulative, are carried out exclusively on-line. The entry fee has a cost of € 75.00.

If a registered rider is unable to participate in the Granfondo Campagnolo Roma in 2019, the fee is non-refundable. In case of cancellation received by September 15, 2019, the participation fee (€ 75.00) will be considered valid for entry to the edition 2020. The valid registration for the following year is nominal and non transferable and only applies to the year following the waiver. In case of failure to participate the registration fee will not be refunded.

You can replace a participant only when they have already completed their enrollment and always only within the same team. This operation will require an administration fee of € 10.00. The deadline for replacements is 15 September 2019.

The distribution takes place at the Village:

• Friday, October 11, 2019: from 12.00 to 19.00
• Saturday, October 12, 2019: from 10.00 to 19.00

The race pack can be collected directely by the person registered on presentation of vouchers and an original and valid proof of identity (passport, identity card or driving license). No photocopy or other types of documents are permitted. Withdrawals by third parties are allowed only if they have a proxy and a copy of the participant's card.

Each participant must wear during the race, the jersey Granfondo Campagnolo Roma 2019. You will find it in the race pack. That is necessary for security and recognition reasons. Those who do not wear the jersey will be disqualified and excluded from the ranking charts and the awards ceremony.

This year men and women will wear different jerseys.

It is allowed to use any other clothing (overalls, vests, etc.,) in any case the jersey must always be visible.

Granfondo Campagnolo Roma has a comprehensive civil liability insurance coverage that protects anyone and whatever results from a fault of the organization. Each participant is strongly advised to activate his own accident insurance, if he does not already have a policy of this type. The organization provides a UNIPOL SAI INFORTUNI POLICE, which can be acquired and activated in the registration form.

The start of the race is in Via dei Fori Imperiali and the finish line is in Viale di Porta Ardeatina.

The brief meeting is from 6.30 am and the start of the race is at 7.15. Anybody who has not entered the grid 15 (fifteen) minutes before the start will be automatically added to the last starting grid.

A gate is placed at the intersection of Parkway Lago di Albano with Via dei Laghi. Any riders arriving later than 9:30 am, will be forced to divert in the path of ciclopedalata "Mediofondo".

Numbers from n. 301 onwards are assigned based on the time and date of entry of the complete online application. Except the charity entries at a higher price that will will start from grid Romulus or Numa Pompilio (first and second grid).

If you are a group of friends and have different grids, however, you would like to start all together you can start all together receding a grid (not before). Riders with lower grid therefore will be in the grid of teammates with high grid.

The roads will be closed to the traffic during most part of the race. Please check on our website the published roadmap as soon as the Prefecture of Rome will confirm timetable.

The assistance of any kind by private vehicles following the race is strictly prohibited under penalty of disqualification.

All refreshments during the race, drinks, food and supplements to all participants are complimentary.

Granfondo Campagnolo Roma is a competitive athletic event that consists in these rankings:

• overall standings with an indication of the total time, the general ranking position of all categories;
• ranking of the total time spent in the 4 timetrials with an indication of the first position and of each category;
• Special Campagnolo climbing ranking for the 4 timetrials.

The official award ceremony will take place Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 14:00 in the Village Granfondo Campagnolo Roma. Prizes which will be awarded:

• the first 3 (three) men and women category, based on the total time taken for timed climbs races;
• the first 5 (five) teams with the highest number of subscribers;

They will participate in the award ceremony the teams with more participants to the finish, those who arrive within six (6) hours of departure.

The ranking by society, will be by the members of the teams entered cumulatively with a minimum of 15 participants and arrived within the time limit.
